Ideal

Get my studies and work done before I relax

Reality (gap)

I let procrastination get the best of me and I end up not doing work, playing with my phone and end up sleeping.

Causes/Conditions

I tend to lay in bed when I reach home and doze off until late at night. Another cause is my phone, I will end up just playing games or watching videos instead of doing my work.

Effects/Results

I end up with lots of work to do. Constantly behind time, struggling to keep up, and end up with bad grades.

Goal

Strictly finish my work and studies before I can do anything else to ensure I don’t fall behind in class and maintain good grades.

Possible change

Get rid of an unconducive environment and force myself to not touch my phone.

Testing the hypothesis

After school, I go to a public library to study. There is no bed in the library to sleep in and being surrounded by strangers who are focused on studies/work make me feel intimidated, resulting in me actually studying and getting work done.

Outcome of change

End up finishing my work within the schedule given. Able to do more practice on certain topics I am weak in and eventually don’t feel overwhelmed by the workload and content.
