Vellyn's opinion: I agree with the statement that engineers must have good communication skills, especially in our field of civil engineering. Because structural buildings are most vital, one small mistake will lead to huge fatality or accident. As for global engineers, different countries have different situations to address the complex engineering challenges. This involves the safety of the people worldwide up to a total of 8 billion people. If not communicated properly throughout, it may cause unwanted results and inevitable accidents. Collaboration and coordination are thus very crucial for the wellbeing of everyone on earth.

Jannah's opinion: I agree with the statement as all engineers need to have good communication, global engineers have extra challenges that make strong communication even more important. When engineers work with teams from different countries, they face challenges such as difference in languages, cultures, and time zones. This means they need to explain their ideas clearly ensuring everyone is on the same page to avoid misunderstandings.

Good communication helps engineers work as a team better, solve problems more efficiently and ensure smooth sailing of project.
